Paula Winkler
Paula Winkler is a photographer and artist based in Berlin. After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld in 2011 she made her way back to her hometown Berlin where she now works on her own projects and for editorial clients. Her main fields of interest are people, so she specializes in portrait photography. Amongst her freelance work are on-going projects including a long-term observation of a Berlin Drag Queen and meetings with strangers with ambiguous ambitions. She also loves to share her skills with students. Since 2021 she teaches photography in Lette-Verein photography school.
She works for Art Magazin, Apotheken Umschau, Barbara, Brigitte, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Die Zeit, Hanser Verlag, Norddeutscher Rundfunk, REWE, Spiegel, Stern, SZ Magazin, Rolling Stone, Zeit Campus, Zeit Magazin and others.
